REGION 3 (ARIZONA) 700 MHz PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING COMMITTEE
ANNOUNCES FIFTH MEETING
The Region 3 (Arizona) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee announces that its fifth meeting will be held on January 9, 2002 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Casa Grande Fire Training Facility (Station 3) 3305 North Piper Drive, Casa Grande, Arizona (map attached). The purpose of the meeting is to:

It is essential that NOT only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non governmental-organizations eligible under FCC rules 90.523 (a) & (b) be represented in order to ensure each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. In addition to agency technical representatives knowledgeable in the field of private radio communication, administrators who are not oriented in the communications field are encouraged to attend.
All interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of new public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz band should plan to attend. For further information, please contact:
