ARRC UPDATE
ARRC has met on April 18, 2006 in Mesa and on June 9 in Phoenix
The Applications Review Committee approved several DPS
applications and one Mesa application at the April meeting and
an additional DPS and Mesa application at the June meeting. The
full ARRC approved.
The VHF/UHF/800 MHz Frequency Reassignment Committee has drafted
a rough plan and further study is ongoing for the Mesa give-back
VHF frequencies.
The Regional/Interregional Committee approved a revision to the
Nevada plan. The full ARRC approved.
The start of voluntary negotiations for the non-NPSPAC
frequencies will begin on July 3.
Mesa submitted application for fixed repeaters on ITAC1 through
4 and was approved by the ARRC.
Next meeting will be July 20 at 1000 at Gila River Fire
Department.
