Arizona APCO
Board Meeting
December 5,
2006
We had a conference call on
12/5/06 at 0935
hours. In “attendance” were Trudy Cory, Dan McNemee, Jesse Cooper,
Scott Tillman and myself.
Items discussed:
-
Conference in January: Is the
conference still a go? There is very good interest from
Vendors. Dan relayed what he understood from
Brian Tobin.
-
There are 23 tables left to
sell. The amount of vendor space increased this year, so
those sold are already more than the vendors that attended
last year.
-
So far there are only 9
personal registrations. Consensus was that it is difficult
for individuals to register when they do not know what they
are registering for.
-
We need the conference
committee to get the program information out as soon as
possible.
-
Will we schedule a formal
meeting at the conference? In the past, the meeting has
been the luncheon. Do we need more?
-
Scott Tillman will look into what
it takes, or if it needs to be done, in regards to modifying the
constitution as it relates to a Technical meeting.
-
We also need to swear in the
President as this was not done at the September meeting.
-
Brian Tobin
was discussed as a candidate for the vacant Vice President
position. This meeting of the board did not have enough
information on how to proceed. Pat, we need your input!
So, this is what we have for the
agenda for the Dec. 15 meeting;
-
Roll Call
-
Committee Reports
-
Old Business
-
New Business
-
Technical Committee Meeting –
Scott Tillman
The next board meeting will be on
Monday
January 8, 2007 at 9:00 am.
If there are any
additions/deletions/comments on these minutes and/or the agenda for
the Dec. 15 meeting, please forward them to Sheila and myself.
Thanks!
