Please
insert the following pages in your PCIA Part 90 book under Rule Section 90.20
(effective 12/12/00 FCC 00-348).
These
frequencies are the Public Safety Interoperability channels and their
adjacents. Please pay attention
to the adjacents listed. They are
wideband channels that now have limitation #81, which is limited to a
bandwidth of 11.25kHz. This
limitation is for new stations or adding the frequency as new to
an existing system.
When
assigning these channels please refer to limitations #80 thru #83, which are
not in our current Part 90 book.

(80) After [effective date] this frequency is available primarily for public safety interoperability only communications. Stations licensed prior to [effective date] may continue to use this frequency on a coprimary basis until January 1, 2005. After January 1, 2005, all operations will be secondary to cochannel interoperability communications.
(81) After [effective date] new stations will only be licensed with an authorized bandwidth not to exceed 11.25 kHz. Licensees authorized prior to [effective date] may continue to use bandwidths wider than 11.25 kHz on a coprimary basis until January 1, 2005. After January 1, 2005, all stations operating with an authorized bandwidth greater than 11.25 kHz will be secondary to adjacent channel interoperability operations.
(82) This frequency is reserved for assignment only in support of, and on a secondary basis to, nationwide interoperability use.
(83) This interoperability frequency is dedicated for the express purpose of nationwide interoperability calling.
