Clackamas County Communications (CCOM) is seeking experienced, professional, dedicated dispatchers with at least 2 years of experience in police, fire & medical call taking and dispatching. 

 

CCOM is located in Oregon City, OR (within the Portland metropolitan area) and serves a population of approximately 300,000.  A diverse landscape including urban, suburban, rural, agriculture and National Forest provide a wide variety of calls and experience.  CCOM is a great place to work, and the Portland area is a great place to live.  You are only 1 ½ hours from the wonderful Oregon coast and less than an hour from scenic Mt. Hood.

 

Dispatchers work 4 days on/4 days off (10-hour shifts), have great benefits, and promotional opportunities.  CCOM’s training program is structured, supportive and has an excellent success rate for incoming trainees. Promotional opportunities to Shift Leader ($47,302.35 - $59,722.58), Supervisor (62,662.06 - $84,593.76) and other positions exist.
